Chairman - Cody McCubbin

Cody grew up in El Paso Texas for 18 years, before moving to Indiana to attend Indiana University where he earned a BS in Finance with a minor in Economics. After undergraduate school, Cody spent several years working as a credit analyst for fixed income and asset management firms in Chicago. Cody recently received his MBA in finance from DePaul University, and has been working in the energy trading business as a credit analyst and risk analyst for the last four years.
Cody currently resides in Geneva, with his wife Renee and his two boys, Erick and Dylan.

Vice-Chairman - Stephanie Navarro

Stephanie Navarro was born in Aurora, Ill. and raised in Montgomery, Ill. She is a 2003 graduate of Aurora Central Catholic High School and a 2007 graduate of St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa.
Stephanie has assisted with numerous campaigns in the Kane County area. She is currently on the executive board for both the Aurora Republican Women and the RNHA-Kane County.
When not spending her time with local politics, Stephanie is the office manager/administrative assistant for St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Sugar Grove, Ill.

Treasurer - Drew Veeneman

Drew Veeneman is a local political consultant and member of the Elgin Township Republican organization. He grew up in Carpentersville and graduated from Elgin Academy. Veeneman received an undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University and a US Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Following the 2006 election cycle as a congressional campaign staffer, he studied campaign management at the Ray C. Bliss Institute with political consultant Mark Weaver in Ohio. At the 2008 Pollie Awards, he won three student pollies for television ads produced in graduate school.
Drew Veeneman is dedicated to better campaign craftsmanship. Recent electoral victories include the Elgin Township Republican Team, Harper Community College referendum, and an assortment of Winnebago County races.

Heather Trask - Secretary 

Heather was born and raised in St. Charles, IL and returned to her roots in 2005 after living in Cincinnati, OH for a few years with her husband, Matt. She attended the University of Illinois and Illinois State University graduating with her Degree in Elementary Education. She also has her Masters in Curriculum and Technology Integration from Benedictine University. She taught elementary education for seven years and has since stayed home with her children. 

Outside of raising two young girls, Heather also works part-time creating photo and video slideshows for Lasting Memory DVDs. Relatively new to the political arena, Heather felt compelled to get involved after seeing the continued over-involvement of government in our everyday lives.

Communications Director - Allen Skillicorn


Allen has lived and worked around the Kane County area for the past 10 years. While attending Judson University he studied Business and Marketing. Allen has been involved in his local church, conservative politics, and racing sports cars since college. In 2006 and 2007 Allen won National Championship titles with the National Auto Sport Association.
Currently Allen works as a Marketing director for a local electronics manufacturer, continues to race cars, instructs other drivers, and regularly volunteers for an animal rescue and a food pantry.

Membership Director - Garrett Burt

Garrett grew up in Spring Lake, New Jersey. He received his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and continued on to receive his MBA from Saint Leo University in Florida. He has worked for a Fortune 500 telecommunication company for over 12 years. He began his career in New Jersey and then moved on to Chicago to pursue career advancement. 
Garrett also enjoys his second career as an Adjunct Professor teaching Business, Government & Society and Effective Small Business Management. 

Garrett currently resides in Elburn, Illinois with his wife Jennifer and two sons, Gavin and Graham. His hope for the Republican Party is for it to return to its conservative fundamentals and to protect our children’s future livelihood.
